Day 1 – USA – ISRAEL
We take our flight to Israel.
Day 2 – HOLY LAND
Arrival at the Ben Gurion airport, where you will meet your professional guide, who will be with you during your visit to the Holy Land. We will move to Galilee to stay at the hotel and spend the night.
Day 3 – CAESAREA – HAIFA – GALILEE
Start the day by visiting the ancient Caesarea that was once the ancient capital of the Roman province. Visit the Byzantine churches, the Roman theater, the Crusader pit and the aqueduct. We continue to the north of the city of Haifa, the place with the largest port in the country; We will go to the top of Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and the port. We will celebrate Mass in the Stella Maris Convent and the Elias Cave. Later we will move to Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at weddings and where many couples still enjoy the renewal of marriage vows. Then back to Nazareth to visit Mary’s Well, the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph.
Day 4 – SEA OF GALILEE – CAESAREA DE FILIPO
We start our day enjoying a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee, where there is a 2,000 year old ship recently discovered on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. We will continue to Capernaum; the home of our Lord during his ministry, visit the Synagogue where he preached. Next we make our way to the place of multiplication of the loaves and fishes in “Tabgha”. Then we will continue to the Church of St. Peter and then to the top of the Mount of Beatitudes, place of the great “Sermon of the Mount”. We will go to Caesarea de Filipo, where Jesus said to Saint Peter “And I also tell you, that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.”
Day 5 – RIVER JORDAN – MT TABOR – BETHLEHEM
After breakfast, you will begin the day remembering the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River. Then we will go to Mount Tabor to visit the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus and enjoy the incredible landscape of the Jezreel Valley. We will participate in the celebration of mass in the upper part of the mountain, preparing you for your trip to Jerusalem where Jesus would suffer the crucifixion. We will continue with the visit to the Ela Valley where David fought with Goliath. Next, we will go to Emaus, where the risen Jesus met with the disciples and shared food with them.
Day 6 – BETHLEHEM – EIN KAREM – JERUSALEM
After breakfast, the day will begin at the Church of the Nativity, the place of birth of Jesus Christ, participate in the celebration of the Mass. Visit the Grotto of St. Jerome and Milk Grotto. Continue to Beit Sahour for the visit of the Field of the Shepherds. In the afternoon, we will go to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist to visit the Church that remembers his memory. Then, we will walk up the hill until we reach the Church of the Visitation, where Mary met her cousin Isabel, where she proclaimed the Magnifica for being the mother of Jesus: “Blessed are you among all women.”
Day 7. – JERUSALEM
After breakfast, start the day at the top of the Mount of Olives; We will visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Paternoster Church where Jesus taught the prayer of the Our Father to his disciples. We will enjoy the panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. We will make the trek along the Palm Sunday route to reach Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over the fate of Jerusalem. Then we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations for the Mass on the Rock of Agony. We will proceed to go to the western wall, on Mount Zion. To visit the Cenacle, where Jesus had the last supper with his disciples. We will visit the Tomb of King David and the Church of Domitian. Then we will walk to the Church of San Pedro in Gallicantu in commemoration of the denial of three times that Peter denied Christ and the house of Caiaphas where he was interrogated and spent the night Jesus after being arrested in the Garden of Getsemani.
Day 8. – JERUSALEM – BETHANY – JERICHO
We start the day on the Via Dolorosa, with the walk through the Stations of the Cross to reach the most sacred place for Christians, which is the Church of the Holy Sepulcher to visit the Golgotha and the Tomb of our Lord. Then we will continue with a visit to the Church of Santa Ana, where the parents of the Virgin Mary lived. Near there, you will see the pool of Bethesda, the great Bethany where Jesus raised Lazarus from death, visit the tomb of Lazarus and celebrate the mass. We will visit the ancient Jericho, the oldest inhabited city in the world, through the desert of Judea. From the top of the old “Tel”, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Elisha fountain, the Mount of Temptation and then see the Sycamore tree. We will move to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
Day 9. – BETHANY – DEAD SEA – JERUSALEM
After breakfast, we will head to the small village of Bethany, on the eastern slope of the Mount of Olives, about 3km from Jerusalem. This was a favorite place of rest and refuge for Jesus. This is where he met the friendship and intimacy of his friends Marta, María and Lázaro. In the cemetery, just below the Villa, Lazaro rose from the dead. The Chapel of the Ascension, located in Bethany is a sanctuary located on the Mount of Olives. It is located in a place traditionally the faithful believe that it is the point of the earth where Jesus ascended to heaven forty days after his resurrection. It houses a stone slab that is believed to contain one of Jesus’ traces. We will stop briefly on the shores of the Dead Sea for a quick dip in the waters laden with salt and minerals. Dinner and accommodation will be in Bethlehem or Jerusalem.
Day 10. – TEL AVIV – USA
Today we will go to the Tel Aviv airport to take our flight back home. End of the itinerary and service.
Día 1 – SALIDA DE ESTADOS UNIDOS A ISRAEL
Tomamos nuestro vuelo a Israel.
Día 2 – LLEGADA A TIERRA SANTA
Llegada al aeropuerto Ben Gurion, donde se encontraran con su guia profesional, que estara con usted durante la visita a Tierra Santa. Nos trasladaremos a Galilea para alojarnos en el hotel y pasar la noche.
Día 3 – CESAREA – HAIFA – GALILEA
Comience el dia visitando la antigua Cesarea que una vez fue la antigua capital de la provincia Romana. Visita a las iglesias bizantinas, el teatro romano, la fosa de cruzado y el acueducto. Para continuar al norte de la ciudad de Haifa lugar con mayor puerto del pais; iremos a la cima del Monte Carmelo para una vista panoramica de la ciudad y del puerto. Celebraremos misa en el Convento Stella Maris y la cueva de Elias. Posteriormente nos trasladaremos a Cana, donde Jesus realizo su primer milagro, convirtiendo el agua en vino en las bodas y donde muchas parejas siguen disfrutando de la renovacion de votos matrimoniales. Luego de vuelta a Nazaret para visitar el Pozo de Maria, la Basilica de la Anunciacion y la Iglesia de San Jose.
Día 4 – MAR DE GALILEA – CESAREA DE FILIPO
Comenzamos nuestro dia disfrutando de un paseo en barco por el Mar de Galilea, donde se encuentra un barco de 2,000 anos de antiguedad descubierto recientemente en las orillas del Mar de Galilea. Continuaremos a Cafarnaum; el hogar de nuestro Senor durante su ministerio, visitarmeos la Sinagoga en donde predico. Para conducir hasta el lugar de la multiplicacion de los panes y peces en “Tabgha”. Luego continuaremos a la Iglesia del Primado de San Pedro y luego a la cima del Monte de Bienaventuranzas lugar del gran “Sermon del Monte” de Jesus para celebrar la misa. Nos trasladaremos hasta Cesarea de Filipo, donde Jesus dijo a San Pedro “Y yo tambien te digo, que tu eres Pedro, y sobre esta roca edificare mi iglesia.”
Día 5 – RIO JORDAN – MONTE TABOR – BELÉN
Despues del desayuno, comenzara el dia recordando el bautismo de Jesus en el Rio Jordan. Luego iremos al Monte Tabor para visitar el sitio de la Transfiguracion de Jesus y disfrutar del increible paisaje del Valle de Jezreel. Participara en la celebracion de la misa en la parte superior de la montana que le prepara para su viaje a Jerusalen donde Jesus iba a sufrir en la crucificacion y la resurreccion de entre los muertos. Continuaremos con la visita al Valle de Ela donde David lucho con Goliat. A continuacion, iremos a Emaus, donde Jesus resucitado se reunio con los discipulos y compartio con ellos la comida.
Día 6 – BELÉN – EIN KAREM – JERUSALEN
Despues del desayuno, comenzara el dia en la Iglesia de la Natividad, el lugar de nacimiento de Jesucristo, participara en la celebracion de la misa. Visitara la Gruta de San Jeronimo y Gruta de la Leche. Se Continuara a Beit Sahour para la visita del Campo de los Pastores. Por la tarde, nos dirigiremos a Ein karem, el lugar de nacimiento de San Juan Bautista para visitar la Iglesia que recuerda su memoria. Luego, hara una caminata por la colina hasta llegar a la Iglesia de la Visitacion, donde Maria se encontro con su prima Isabel, donde ella proclamo la Magnifica por ser la madre de Jesus: “Bendita tu eres entre todas las mujeres.”
Día 7. – JERUSALÉN
Despues del desayuno, comenzara el dia en la parte superior del Monte de los Olivos; visitaremos la Capilla de la Ascension y la Iglesia Paternoster donde Jesus enseno la oracion del Padre Nuestro a sus discipuos. Disfrutaremos de la vista panoramica de la vieja ciudad de Jerusalen. Haremos la caminata a lo largo de la ruta del Domingo de Ramos para llegar Dominus Flevit Iglesia donde Jesus lloro sobre el destino de Jerusalen. Luego haremos la Visita del Jardin de Getsemani y la Iglesia de Todas las Naciones para la misa sobre la Roca de la Agonia. Procederemos a ir a la pared occidental, en el Monte de Sion. Para visitar el Cenaculo, donde Jesus tuvo la ultima cena con sus discipulos. Recorreremos la Tumba del Rey David y la Iglesia de Domiciano. Luego haremos una caminata hasta la Iglesia de San Pedro en Gallicantu en conmemoracion de la negacion de tres veces que Pedro nego a Cristo y la casa de Caifas donde fue interrogado y paso la noche Jesus despues de ser arrestado en el huerto de Getsemani.
Día 8. – JERUSALÉN – BETANIA – JERICÓ
Empezamos el dia en la Via Dolorosa, con la caminata a traves de las Estaciones de la Cruz para llegar al lugar mas sagrado para los Cristianos, que es la Iglesia del Santo Sepulcro para visitar el Golgota y la Tumba de nuestro Senor. Luego continuaremos con una visita a la Iglesia de Santa Ana, donde vivian los padres de la Virgen Maria. Cerca de alli, se vera la piscina de Bethesda, la gran Betania donde Jesus levanto a Lazaro de la muerte, visitaremos la tumba de Lazaro y celebraremos la misa. Visitaremos a traves del desierto de Judea la antigua Jerico, la ciudad habitada mas antigua del mundo. Desde lo alto de la antigua “Tel”, podra disfrutar de una hermosa vista de la fuente de Eliseo, el Monte de la Tentacion y luego ver el arbol Sicomoro. Nos trasladaremos a Qumran, donde se encontraron los Rollos del Mar Muerto.
Día 9. – BETANIA – MAR MUERTO – JERUSALÉN
Después del desayuno, nos dirigiremos a la pequeña aldea de Betania, en la vertiente oriental del Monte de los Olivos, a unos 3km de Jerusalén. Este fue un lugar favorito de descanso y refugio para Jesús. Aquí fue donde conoció la amistad y la intimidad de sus amigos Marta, María y Lázaro. En el cementerio, justo debajo de la Villa, se levantó Lázaro de entre los muertos. La capilla de la Ascensión, ubicada en Betania es un santuario situado en el Monte de los Olivos. Está ubicado en un sitio tradicionalmente los fieles creen que es el punto de la tierra donde Jesús ascendió al cielo cuarenta días después de su resurrección. Alberga una losa de piedra que se cree que contienen una de las huellas de Jesús. Nos detendremos brevemente en las orillas del Mar Muerto para un rápido chapuzón en las aguas cargadas de sal y minerales. Cena y alojamiento será en Belén o Jerusalén.
Día 10. – SALIDA
Hoy se dirigira al aeropuerto de Tel Aviv para tomar su vuelo de regreso a casa. Fin del itinerario y servicio.
